KFBG is dedicated to supporting Hong Kong’s migrant domestic workers through the “Connection to Nature for Migrant Domestic Workers in Hong Kong” project. This initiative acknowledges the invaluable contributions of domestic workers to the city and aims to enhance their well-being by providing opportunities to enjoy nature and engage in enriching activities.
Role Overview
As a Part-Time Programme Coordinator, you will coordinate the creative and mindfulness sessions that encourage participants to express themselves through various forms of activities. Each session will be a vital part of our programme, helping participants relax and connect with nature while fostering a sense of community.
Major Responsibilities
- Coordinate engaging and accessible sessions, allowing participants to experience various forms of activities.
- Handle programme operations, which include arranging and supporting manpower and logistics, supporting session teachers, communicating safety protocols, collecting feedback from participants, and record keeping.
- Coordinate with KFBG staff to ensure a seamless experience for participants, including but not limited to timing, logistics, greeting participants and venue set-up.
- Foster community among participants, promoting interaction and friendship-building.
Job Requirements
- Experience in programme coordination.
- Proficient in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Passion for serving the community, with a strong understanding of the needs of migrant domestic workers.
- Previous experience working with diverse groups is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing, and Zoom Platform
