Yellow Oleander Hanging Ornament DIY Workshop

The Yellow Oleander, originating from South America, is known for its toxicity, but is also commonly found in urban settings in Hong Kong. In this workshop, you will learn about the reasons behind the planting of Yellow Oleander in Hong Kong and be able to make a tiny seed shaker. Come join us to make your own unique tiny seed shaker.

Notes:
*DO NOT EAT THE SEEDS!
*The seeds used have been handwashed; they are not poisonous to touch.
*Tools and seeds are included.
*All seeds used are collected by workshop tutors in Hong Kong.

Time: 15:30 – 17:00

Venue: Art House, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

Fee: $365 per person *The price does not include KFBG admission fee

Quota: 15

Target: 10 or above (children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent)

Points to note

  1. All applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are deemed successful upon receipt of confirmation email.
  2. If KFBG cancels the event due to adverse weather, insufficient enrolment, or social situations, participants will be notified of refund arrangements by email. No refund will be made for non-attendance, and the event cannot be rescheduled once the application is confirmed.
  3. Participants must follow KFBG’s Visitor Guidelines: https://www.kfbg.org/en/announcements/visitors-guidelines
  4. If the applicant fails to follow instructions provided by staff, KFBG reserves the right to refuse admission without refund.
  5. Participation fees are charged per person, and prices are the same for adults and children.
