Countryside Eco-festival 2025 - Wildlife Adventure Eco-Tour for Beginners

Do you know KFBG is one of Hong Kong’s biodiversity hotspots? Here, you have the chance to see about 80% of the butterflies and amphibians, half of the reptiles, and one third of the bird species found throughout Hong Kong.

Join us for a guided walk through our lower farm area, led by our butterfly expert and experienced conservationist. Together, let's explore and learn about the diverse wildlife that calls this place home!

Venue: Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden 

Fee: $230 per person *The price does not include KFBG admission fee

Quota per session: 15

Target: Aged 10 and above (Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent) 

Language: Cantonese

*Each participant must register individually. If there are accompanying persons, they must register separately.

Points to note

  1. All applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are deemed successful upon receipt of confirmation email.
  2. If KFBG cancels the event due to adverse weather, insufficient enrolment, or social situations, participants will be notified of refund arrangements by email. No refund will be made for non-attendance, and the event cannot be rescheduled once the application is confirmed.
  3. Participants must follow KFBG’s Visitor Guidelines: https://www.kfbg.org/en/announcements/visitors-guidelines
  4. If the applicant fails to follow instructions provided by staff, KFBG reserves the right to refuse admission without refund.
  5. Participation fees are charged per person, and prices are the same for adults and children.
  6. This activity is suitable for individuals aged 10 and above. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent and register separately.
  7. Please bring your own binoculars; a limited number of binoculars are available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis.
