Due to enthusiastic response, all workshops are fully booked. Welcome to visit KFBG on that day with free entry!
Our country designated 15 August every year as the National Ecology Day (“NED”), with a view to promoting the society’s awareness towards ecological civilisation and environmental protection, and implementation of the important concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable asset”.
In celebration of National Ecology Day, in addition to providing free entry on 15 August at KFBG, we are offering several activities for public participation and to experience the beauty and vitality of natural ecology, while raising awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development.
A wide range of activities are offered, including guided eco-tours such as the Butterfly Walk and Streamside Wildlife Spotting Walk, creative workshops like the Pastel Art Workshop themed 'Little Fish' and DIY Wood Workshops, as well as educational encounters with rescued wildlife.
Through these immersive experiences, KFBG aims to foster a deeper appreciation for biodiversity, highlight the importance of conservation, and inspire positive action for a sustainable future in Hong Kong and beyond.
