Stop, look closely, and put what you see on paper.
In the rush of city life, when was the last time you truly stopped to look closely at the texture of a leaf or the behaviour of a bird? Nature journalling is an art that allows for a deep connection with nature – it is not just about recording what we see, but a process of observing, feeling and connecting with the natural world.
What Happens on the Day
In this workshop, the tutor guides you through the lower hillside of KFBG, demonstrating outdoor exploration and sketching techniques. You will be guided on how to observe details in nature and use lines, words and colours to transform the lively scenes before you – whether it’s the chirping of birds in the forest, wildflowers by the roadside, or the dappled shadows of trees – into unique landscapes in your sketchbook.
