Convent Garden is an excellent place to have a picnic under the shade of forest trees. The place is named after the Nun Orchids (Phaius tankervilliae) that used to grow here. Now, it is the home to many rare, shade-loving plants, such as the Japanese Ragwort (Ligularia japonica) and the Farfugium japonicum.
