Exploring Our Hillside
Botanic Garden and Nature Reserve
Streamlife Display
In the ‘Streamlife Display’, we have examples of aquatic animals that inhabit the upper, middle and lower sections of Lam Tsuen River, and an interactive educational panel.
As you walk along the pristine KFBG stream, if you are slow and observant, you can discover much native stream life, including the Hong Kong Newt, dragonflies, mayflies, caddisflies and fish.
Just beyond the Stremlife Display house is the Lotus Pond where visitors may see frogs, toads and damsel flies.
You can help by not taking any wildlife from streams and rivers in Hong Kong, and being careful not to cause any water pollution.
