This September, Helena Norberg-Hodge, producer of the award-winning film Economics of Happiness, taught at our two-day workshop in the newly-opened Green Hub at Tai Po with 27 participants. At the workshop, ‘Economics of Happiness—Global Vision for Local Action’, participants watched the film and then took part in a lively Q&A session with Helena, giving them the opportunity to learn both from Helena and from each other. They said they were very impressed by the Green Hub and inspired by its environmentally-friendly design. On the second day, participants visited O-Farm at Hok Tau and the Sunday Farmers’ Market at Tai Wo. Many people said that the workshop broadened perspectives and deepened their understanding of true happiness.
