Alex is an Italian veterinarian who graduated from the University of Milan, Italy. He worked for a few years in small animal practice and moved to exotic and wildlife medicine in 2000. He has more than twenty years of veterinary experience and he has been working for 16 years at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, Wild Animal  Rescue Centre.

Throughout his career, he had the privilege to work with many different animal species and collaborate with multiple organizations (NGOs and Governmental) on many different projects. Over the years he has also nurtured the careers of many interns and volunteers attached to the Veterinary Hospital.

Qualification: DMV, MVS (Conservation), MRCVS, Dip ACCM
