Founded in 1998, Kadoorie Conservation China Department (KCC) focused on rapid biodiversity assessments around South China to formulate our long-term conservation strategy. Since the 2000s we launched various field conservation projects to minimise the loss of biodiversity and promote sustainability in China and, in recent years, Cambodia. On-going projects include protection of natural ecosystems, conservation of endangered species, capacity building, awareness-raising and promotion of sustainability in local communities. We currently have projects in Hainan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Beijing of China, and Kratie of Cambodia.
