I lead the teams that look after the horticulture in the Lower farm and two of the Flora Conservation department's native plant nurseries. The nursery teams propagate native trees, shrubs, climbers and herbs from across Hong Kong, under permission from the A.F.C.D. These plants are used to develop ex-situ conservation collections of Hong Kong's numerous rare species, for both ecologically minded botanical displays and for habitat restoration.
