I am a Senior Ecologist leading the Integrated Species Conservation group within the Flora Department. My goal is to develop applied ecological research to support threatened native species recovery in Hong Kong and wider region. I completed my PhD at The University of Nottingham, UK studying tropical peat swamp forest condition in Malaysia. I am especially interested in developing projects that integrate field ecology, remote sensing and environmental monitoring to inform evidence-based conservation and restoration.
