A special summer invitation

This summer, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden invites you to celebrate our 70th anniversary with free admission by registration from 15 July to 14 September.

Awaken memory. Love the land. Visit KFBG this summer

  • Free admission by registration.
  • A meaningful summer outing for all ages.
  • A special way to celebrate KFBG's 70th anniversary.
  • Nature, heritage, and discovery in one visit.
  • Explore at your own pace.

Three ways to explore

"Awakening of Memory: Ethnobotanical Stories of Tai Mo Shan" exhibition

"Awakening of Memory: Ethnobotanical Stories of Tai Mo Shan" exhibition

Discover our ethnobotany exhibition which explores how native plants are connected with the memory, traditional use and lived relationships of people and communities associated with Tai Mo Shan. Distributed across the site, the exhibition invites visitors to encounter stories that emerge through place, observation, and cultural association. It offers a way to experience KFBG's anniversary through the living environment itself.

As one of the key interpretive anchors of the summer programme, the exhibition offers a way to experience KFBG's anniversary through the living environment itself.

Family-friendly Summer Self-Guided Tour

Family-friendly Summer Self-Guided Tour

Explore the grounds through a family-friendly discovery route designed for summer. This self-guided tour follows a suggested route highlighting seasonal wildlife, helping visitors enjoy the site in an easy and purposeful way.

"KFBG 70th Anniversary: A Journey of Awakening and Discovery" special exhibition and heritage walk

"KFBG 70th Anniversary: A Journey of Awakening and Discovery" special exhibition and heritage walk

Follow an optional Upper Hill route that traces KFBG's story through heritage landmarks. The exhibition at the Plaza and the self-guided heritage walk invites visitors to reflect on the site's transformation over time – from barren hillside to experimental farm, from agricultural valley to restored forest, and from livelihood support to conservation and stewardship.

Through places such as the Post Office Pillars, T.S. Woo Memorial Pavilion, Kwun Yam Statue, Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Pavilion, and Orchid Haven, visitors can encounter the story of KFBG through the hillside itself.
