Countryside Eco-festival 2024

Despite the absence of mighty rivers, Hong Kong has a network of over 200 rivers and streams. These waterways have been instrumental in shaping the local communities and agricultural landscape, while providing essential habitats and food sources for wildlife.

What unique animals are found in our rivers and streams? What does it take to ensure our rivers are healthy and lively? The upcoming Countryside Eco-festival 2024 is focusing on river ecosystems, and we are working with conservation organisations, experts, artists and artisans to showcase the beauty of Hong Kong’s countryside. Also featuring at the festival are a natural market, game booths, guided tours, DIY workshops, public talks and more.

In this season of blossoms and greenery, let us take you on an excursion of natural heritage!
