EcoMetropolis: Thrive towards Sustainable Futures

Urban planning often pritorities meeting human needs – constructing infrastructure and skyscrapers to improve efficiency. However, this can be harmful to wildlife. In the half-day EcoMetropolis course, students explore how cities can better coexist with nature. Acting as city planners, they design eco-friendly solutions that benefit both people and wildlife, such as green buildings, sustainable roads, and resource recycling systems. This hands-on approach helps students not only grasp the environmental impact of urban development but also enhances their teamwork and problem-solving skills for a sustainable future.
