Fauna Outreach Volunteers Recruitment 2024

Don't miss this valuable opportunity to learn and contribute to KFBG’s animal conservation efforts through The Fauna Outreach Volunteer Programme 2024!

The programme provides a series of classes and practical training to equip volunteers with the necessary knowledge to assist in animal conservation work. Topics covered include biology, animal conservation objectives and guiding techniques. Participants are also introduced to the work of our Wildlife Rescue Centre through real-life animal case studies. We hope that our outreach volunteers can play a part in raising public awareness of nature conservation.

Upon completion of the programme and passing the examination, participants have the opportunity to assist in the Animal Encounters weekend event, where they will introduce visitors to our captive animals and promote conservation messages. Participants will also be involved in the Discovery Tables activity, where they will showcase specimens of various animals, explain the impact of the wildlife trade and share stories of wildlife rescue cases.
