Herb Experience Activity

Autumn is here, and it’s time to go for a walk in the countryside with your kids.

In our colourful herb garden, we can pick fresh herbs together, smell the fresh herbs, touch the herbs and taste the rich flavours of the herbs. So let’s find out what all the herbs are! Activities include picking fresh herbs and tasting special herb snacks, and  participants will also receive a small bunch of herbs and a pesto-making pack to take home.

Date: 2 November (Saturday) 
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
Content: Guided tour, herb harvesting, food demonstration and tasting (A small bunch of herbs and pesto--making-pack will be given as gift)
Fee: Adult HK$150; child HK$125; parent-child HK$250 (parent and children aged under 12);
Quota: 20 people

Pot Planting Activity

Want to experience the joy of planting and grow food at home?

Put the seeds in the soil, water them daily, and watch the seedlings gradually grow taller. Learn about the process of life and growth. Planting is not difficult, as long as you understand the factors for plant growth. You can get started!

Let’s witness with our own eyes how common foods grow. From planting to harvest, the experience helps you and your children appreciate vegetables and herbs more. Participants will receive a pot of herb seedlings and a pack of microgreen seeds.

Content: Tips for caring for and growing microgreens (A pot of herb seedlings and a pack of microgreens seeds will be given as gift)
