Botanic Garden and Nature Reserve
Reptile Garden
Reptile Garden is home to a Water Monitor and several species of small turtles. Water Monitors are thought to have become locally extinct in Hong Kong and those sighted are generally believed to be escaped individuals from the wildlife trade. As the monitor lizard and the turtles are exotic species that cannot be released to the wild, they live here as educational ambassadors.
You can visit them at their exhibit between the Art House and the Wildlife Pond.
