The Wildlife Walkthrough is home to flamingos, alligators and turtles as well as wild birds that visit the enclosures. The flamingos were not rescued animals, but were a gift to KFBG many years ago – all birds are well over 25 years old! They are not a native species so cannot be released to the wild, and  remain in our long term care.

The mixed exhibit of alligators and turtles consists animals that were rescued from illegal food and pet trade. These now receive professional care at KFBG.
