Registration deadline: Two weeks before the event starts. Your participation directly supports KFBG’s conservation work, with all proceeds after cost deductions going towards our conservation efforts.

 

Children can make fermented foods by hand and experience the traditional fermentation process, including vegan mini pancakes and colorful parfait cups. Through the activity, children will learn about local organic ingredients and low-carbon diets, understand where food comes from, and learn to cherish food and protect the planet.

Chia seed pudding with fresh fruit, toasted oats, chocolate cream, peanut butter and cranberry jam — children create their own healthy dessert.

Vegan Mini Pizza

Using organic tomato sauce, vegan cheese and seasonal farm produce, children mix and match toppings to create their own unique vegan pizza.

 

🚐 Getting There

  • A shuttle bus is provided from Tai Po Market MTR Station to HKU Kadoorie Centre
  • Return transport must be arranged independently
  • No parking space available at the HKU Kadoorie Centre. Please avoid driving there.

🌿 About the Venue

The workshop takes place at the Food Hub of Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden. The facility is located at HKU Kadoorie Centre in Shek Kong, Yuen Long — an energy-efficient, eco-friendly green building awarded the highest Platinum rating under BEAM Plus.
