Participants shall not raise objections or request refunds or any other form of compensation.
- No refund will be made except when the event is cancelled due to inclement weather or reasons attributable to KFBG. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, and processing time may vary depending on the bank or payment platform.

▼ Bad Weather Contingency
1. When a Weather Warning is in Effect:
Most activities will be held outdoors. For safety reasons, if any of the following weather warnings are in effect or forecast to take effect within three hours before the activity, resulting in KFBG being unable to open, the day’s activities will be cancelled:
- Strong Wind Signal No. 3
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above
- Landslip Warning
- Red Rainstorm Warning or Landslip Warning
- Black Rainstorm Warning
Under the following warnings, KFBG’s Lower Zone will remain open and activities will continue. Visitors are advised to avoid the Upper Zone:
- Yellow Rainstorm Warning
- Thunderstorm Warning
- Standby Signal No. 1
* Participants are advised to closely monitor weather conditions. Any changes will be announced promptly on our Facebook page.
2. No Formal Warning in Effect (Heavy Rain Contingency):
As activities are primarily held outdoors, the safety of participants is our utmost priority. The following outlines our approach for different weather conditions:
Situation 1: Heavy Rain Forecast on Activity Day
If the weather forecast indicates a high likelihood of heavy rain on the activity day, we will cancel the activity one day in advance to ensure safety.
Situation 2: Light Rain Forecast on Activity Day
If light or intermittent showers are forecast, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) will tentatively proceed with the activity, subject to a final decision based on an on-site risk assessment. Any updates will be communicated at least 3 hours before the activity begins.
Situation 3: Unexpected Rain on Activity Day (Not Previously Forecast)
Should unexpected rain occur, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden will proceed with the activity. However, participants are advised to assess conditions independently before making their final decision.
Participants should decide whether to attend based on their own health and physical condition. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of all activities.
