TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are effective as of 30 June, 2024 and are valid until further notice. KFBG has the rights to change these terms and conditions and privacy policy from time to time at our sole discretion.

1. These terms and conditions are applicable to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden Donors-to-Members. In these Terms, “You” refers to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden Donors-to-Member(s). KFBG, and “we” and “us” refers to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden.

2. As a member you are entitled, upon presentation of a valid membership card to enjoy the following benefits:
- Unlimited free admission. 
- Receive six KFBG postcards.
- Monthly newsletter “Connections”.

3. KFBG shall reserve the rights to alter or terminate the above offers and amend the terms and conditions herein at any time without prior notice.

4. Eligible persons (“Eligible Persons”) to apply for Donors-to-Membership Programme: One-time donation of HK$500; or accumulate a total donation amount (“Donation Amount”) of HK$500 within one year. KFBG will invite Eligible Persons to provide personal information via email to apply for Donors-to-Membership Programme.

5. The membership is valid for 12 months. The validity period starts from the day the Donation Amount reaches HK$500 and lasts for 365 days. If the membership cannot be used within this period, we does not offer any refunds or extension of the membership.

6. Confirmation letter and an E-membership card will be issued through email when the application form and payment are received and accepted. Members can use the E-membership card instantly. After receiving the donor's application, we will process the membership application. Upon approval, a confirmation letter and e-membership card will be sent via email. Members can start using the e-membership card immediately. If you do not receive the confirmation email within three weeks, please email membership@kfbg.org for inquiry. If you are unable to provide the donation receipt when contacting us, the processing may not be possible.

7. Applicants must provide the following information for membership processing: English full name, correspondence address, email address, telephone number and recent full-face photograph. This information will be used for contact, identity verification and communications. If the applicants fail to provide the required information, KFBG reserves the rights to refuse KFBG membership.

8. KFBG membership cards and any associated benefits are non-transferable and can only be used by the named member. Proof of identity may be requested on presentation of your KFBG membership card at KFBG site.

9. Members who are unable to show a valid membership card on entry may be required to pay entrance fees before they are admitted, which are non-refundable.

10. A handling fee determined by KFBG will be charged for the resending of e-membership card due to loss or upon member’s request. The minimum time taken for replacement cards to be emailed to the email address provided by member(s) is seven working days.

11. We reserve the rights, in our sole discretion, to refuse KFBG membership and/or to revoke KFBG membership without refund if the member fails to comply with the Visitor Guidelines or the KFBG Bylaw under the KFBG Ordinance (Cap 1156).

12. According to the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance, which took effect on 1 April, 2013, KFBG is committed to treating all personal data as strictly confidential. Your personal information (including your name, telephone number, email and/or postal address, and organisation/company/school) may be used by KFBG and our appointed working partners for the purposes of organisational updates, surveys, newsletters, event/programme invitations and other communication via postal mail, telephone and electronic mail.  Please be advised that you may opt out of having your personal data used for the above purposes by KFBG at any time and free of charge. 13. KFBG reserves the rights to revoke KFBG membership at any time, without financial compensation, if the member commits any breach of the above terms.
