A Better World
Pangolins do not have teeth, however, they have a long, sticky tongue used for catching ants and termites. They also feed on small invertebrates, such as worms, bee larvae, flies and crickets. They have a good sense of smell and can discover ant nests at great distances! It is estimated that a pangolin can consume more than 70 million insects in a year.
