Golden Pavilion
In autumn, the falling gold-coloured leaves of a nearby Ginkgo tree cover the roof of this pavilion. The rich variety of plants and trees growing on the surrounding slopes are best seen in winter when the banks and terraces are covered in a mass of colourful flowers. The Ilex Garden here is a lovely maze of cobbled paths leading to the stream, The Gloria Barretto Orchid Sanctuary and Orchid Haven.
