As the sun gently sinks behind the mountains, the noise of the day slowly fades away. The forest takes on a different quality—gentle, silent, touched with a hint of mystery. At this hour, the forest feels worlds apart from its vibrant daytime self, as if nature itself has pressed a pause.
Our nature invites you to step through this green doorway together. After a busy day, you will walk into the forest at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, bathed in the glow of sunset and the approaching dusk. Slow down your pace. Let go of your restlessness. Allow yourself to be fully immersed in the unique vitality and atmosphere that only exists during this transition between day and night.
Step into the forest. Let the leaves gently brush your thoughts. Let the woods soothe the worries in your heart. Let nature be with you. Under the guidance of our certified forest therapy guide, you will:
🌿 Open your five senses, listen to the quiet conversation between nature and your inner self, and feel a sense of grounding and resonance
🌳 Discover the surprises of the forest at dusk—light, shadow, scent, and sound—all so different from the daytime
🍂 Learn to slow your breath, notice each subtle moment of beauty, and gently find your own rhythm of peace
This is more than a forest walk. It is a healing time of deep dialogue—with nature, and with yourself. Let the forest be your healer, guiding you to let go, to feel, to return.
May this sunset healing journey bring you tranquil moments of ease and inner peace.
About Forest Therapy
Forest Therapy (Shinrin-yoku), also known as ‘forest bathing’ or ‘forest immersion walk’, is a process that allows us to return to nature and reconnect with ourselves. Originating in the 1980s from Japan's Forestry Agency, it encourages people living and working in large cities to take leisurely walks in nature to relax their minds and bodies. Recent studies have shown that forests are filled with phytoncides, negative ions and clean air, all of which help improve sleep quality, reduce stress and promote physical and mental health.
Since 2018, KFBG has been offering this unique experience, designed according to the standards set by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). We have created a series of ‘forest invitations’, led by certified forest therapy guides, allowing participants to slowly open their senses and mindfully experience the surrounding environment. Here, we can not only take quiet walks and listen to the sounds of birds but also allow our spirits to find deep healing in nature's embrace.
Registration for your group is open year-round. Please click HERE for more details.

Feedback from previous participants
- ‘I participated purely for the sake of joining, without expecting much, but during the process, I discovered many hidden emotions within myself that I don't usually notice.’
- ‘I became more sensitive to the differences and developed a deeper appreciation for the ever-changing nature.’
- ‘Throughout the experience, I felt the genuine love that nature bestowed upon me. It felt so real. Even now, back in the city, I still carry that feeling. Bathed in gentle sunlight and accompanied by a cool breeze, it was incredibly comforting. My mood quickly eased.’
- ‘Although I have experienced hiking at night, the time spent in the forest bathing after dusk felt like being secluded from the world. It was also the most intimate and close time I had with the trees.’
