Food Hub

Opened in May 2025, KFBG Food Hub is our newest home for cultivating sustainable living through the power of food. Nestled within the lush forests of the University of Hong Kong’s Kadoorie Centre — and just a short walk from the KFBG site — the Hub is a place where learning unfolds through shared experience.

Designed for plant-based catering and cooking together, Food Hub reconnects the journey from farming field to dining table. Surrounded by forest and wildlife, it invites participants to slow down, get hands-on, and rediscover food as a source of nourishment, connection, and ecological understanding.

KFBG Food Hub also lives its values. Built and run with sustainability at its core, the space has achieved BEAM Plus Platinum certification and was honored with the Hong Kong Building Surveyor Awards 2025. More than a venue, Food Hub is a living example of how thoughtful design and everyday action can shape a more healthy and sustainable future—one meal, one moment, and one community at a time.

A living philosophy

In returning to its founding principles, KFBG demonstrates that sustainable living is not a checklist, but a continuous process of empowerment, connection, and care. In a rapidly changing world, it offers a hopeful path forward—one grounded in resilience, regeneration, and a deep respect for the interdependence of life.
